Job Description
Get involved in a new opportunity to head up a Community Nursing School based at Sibanor Health Clinic. The former WEC clinic is now owned and being well managed by the local Evangelical Church of the Gambia. WEC’s aim is to run a 2-year Government-recognised basic course in community nursing care, in order to give Gambian students a good grounding in nursing. With Government support we are setting up the course based on the Gambian curriculum which will be taught in English. Come to set up and structure the course, working with the School Administrator to students.
Requirements
You are a registered nurse with 5 years‘ clinical experience, plus some experience of teaching and organizing training. A teaching qualification would be advisable but not essential. It is essential that you are flexible with a willingness to try new things. Single and married accommodation available. This post would even suit a retired nurse.
